Capital Hilton Unveils Nutcracker Themed Suite and Festive Activities for the Holiday Season

Celebrate the holiday season at Capital Hilton, where guests can enjoy Washington, D.C.’s holiday lights, themed menus, and seasonal festivities while supporting the local community. Back by popular demand, the Nutcracker Themed Suite offers a magical holiday experience, transforming a Superior Suite with nutcrackers, Christmas trees, and winter décor. Available from December 1 to December 31, this suite includes breakfast for two at $399 per night plus taxes, and bookings can be made directly on the hotel’s website.

It’s our way of spreading holiday cheer and making this time of year special for everyone who visits.”

Family-Friendly Holiday Activities in the Lobby

Capital Hilton invites families to embrace holiday fun with a variety of complimentary activities. Children and adults can embark on a Nutcracker-themed scavenger hunt, searching the lobby for 12 hidden Nutcracker dolls. Guests who complete the scavenger hunt can redeem a holiday prize at The Grind or The Statler Lounge. Additionally, the front desk provides Holiday Light Guides, highlighting iconic D.C. holiday displays like the U.S. Botanic Garden, the Capitol’s West Lawn, and President’s Park.

For younger guests, a Letters to Santa station is available, allowing them to send their holiday wishes straight to the North Pole through a special mailbox.

Supporting the Community with Mary’s Center Toy Drive

This holiday season, Capital Hilton has partnered with Mary’s Center, a DC-based community health organization, to support a toy drive for local children. Guests can contribute by placing new, unwrapped toys under the giving tree in the lobby or by purchasing gifts through Mary’s Center’s Amazon Wishlist. This initiative offers an easy way for guests to spread holiday joy and give back to the local community.
